In 2011 Beeline Studios worked exclusively on the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online for Electrified Games. The TCGO is a 3D Flash game utilizing 3D backgrounds rendered in 2D. Beeline provided concepts and finished backgrounds for use in-game. Beeline developed the UI and avatar design for the Avatar Creator and Trainers for the Trainer Challenge based on the art style delivered by The Pokémon Company International. The Trainer Challenge cut scenes were produced and directed by Beeline with some work provided by the Electrified Games art and design departments. In 2010 Beeline Studios was tasked with developing the ‘Captain Creator’, a tool for creating online avatars for use in-game, as well as the 3D models of starships and bridges for Star Trek Online, a game in development at Mind Control Software. The game was to take place during the original series’ timeframe and styled after Star Trek ‘Quogs’ so all 3D assets were rendered in ‘toon’ style. Some vessels that would appear in the game, such as the Oberth Class vessel seen in The Search for Spock, had to be re-designed to Star Trek: TOS standards. Beeline also created a few concepts for an original ship design called the ‘Hubble’.
In 2010 Beeline acted as Art Lead on the Financial Football product for Mind Control Software. Beeline Studios provided Mind Control with UI design as well as a football stadium for both video and in-game sequences. Beeline also managed third party outsources for production of team based texture assets and in-game character animation. Please allow flash files (last two links below) time to load.
In 2010 Beeline created some concept sketches for a Mind Control Software game proposal.
In 2009 Beeline Studios created art and animations for a few Pet Tomato games. Puzzle Farter is a 2D platformer. Beeline created an illustration reminiscent of early 8 bit games. Pet Tomato also developed Skyrunners for Disney. Beeline Studios provided concept designs for the enemy spacecraft as well as in-game character animations. Please click the animation link in the left menu bar for samples of the in-game animations.
In 2009 Beeline Studios developed character designs and in-game animations for the iOS game Valet Hustle. Below are sample images. Please click the animation link in the left menu bar for samples of the in-game animations.
In 2009 Beeline Studios worked on the pre-production phase of a battling chef game for ngmoco :). Below you will find a few sample images.
In 2009 Beeline Studios created all art assets for an original Digital Chocolate Baseball IP updated for iOS. This involved UI design, background and character animations. The game was only licensed to use retired player names and team colors. Beeline was given great latitude in developing a unique style for the game. "Casey at the bat" was the primary driving style for which Beeline was initially aiming. You can see this in the caricature designs for both Yogi Berra and Ron Guidry in the images below. This style was eventually dropped for a more conventional one due to the three month production schedule. Beeline met and exceeded its weekly milestones for this project. The game was later shelved. Since 2005, Beeline has provided 3D and 2D assets for Doppelganger for use in their social MMOG "vSide". The majority of the work has been avatar development, but we have also provided concepts, world props (vehicles, flora and fauna) as well as city backdrops. We designed and developed the clothing brands Gothzilla, KongMoto, and Kawaii as well as provided art direction for the ModPodz store design. All work is property of Doppelganger, Inc.
Beeline provided Pet Tomato, Inc. with 4 space ships modeled in Maya for a Sci Fi flash game that is yet to be released. We also created the title card for the game, which was inspired by 50's movie posters. Shown here are concepts for the ships as well as roughs for the title card. All work is property of Cartoon Network/Adult Swim.
Beeline was contracted to provide EA/Pogo with avatars and backgrounds for their Club Pogo brand. We created the base male and female avatars with 28 body variations. We also developed over 60 backgrounds, more than 20 hairstyles for each gender, halloween costumes, pets with animation, and much more. All work is the Trademark and Copyright of Electronic Arts.
